About Fred Medina

Fred A. Medina was born and raised in Brazos County, ultimately graduating from Bryan High School. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Army and served in the Field Artillery. His military service reflects his dedication to duty and discipline along with a commitment to protecting and serving our country. This background instilled in him a profound sense of duty and responsibility, qualities that he carries in all aspects of his life.

 

After serving in the Army, Fred returned to Bryan/College Station to attend Texas A&M University, graduating in 1995. After graduation, Fred embarked on a distinguished legal career, earning his law degree from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 2004.

Notably, Fred served as the Assistant Attorney General for the State of Texas, demonstrating his commitment to public service and his capability in handling legal matters at a high level. His experience in the public sector has equipped him with a unique perspective on the challenges facing the community and the state. He took those lessons from the Attorney General's Office and applied them to his private practice where he has passionately represented clients and upheld the principles of the legal system.

Beyond his professional achievements, Fred finds fulfillment in his family life and serving his community. Married since 1996, Fred is a loving husband and father to two daughters and a proud grandfather. Fred's dedication to community service extends to multiple aspects of his life, such as his past role as a sports official. This role is just one that demonstrates Fred's commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for the local community. This multi-faceted involvement showcases his ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
